Legend of Gabriél (8)

Mother and Father didn’t mind Andres visiting the house, they actually encouraged him to come more often. I had no other siblings so I enjoyed having someone else to have a pleasant time with.

Over the many weeks we spent together, Andres and I became close. We gladly went in to town whenever Mother needed anything; Andres even helped around the plantation whenever Father needed extra help. It seemed like he wasn’t even royalty! He always went home, sadly, and didn’t come back until weeks later.

Organización VII” Andres told me one night when he decided to be un rebelde and stay over night.

¿Qué?” I asked. The moon had been shining for awhile and he had unexpectedly changed la tema.

“Remember when you had asked me about the man in black?”

Si.”

“He’s part of a secret organization, sworn to protect España and it’s royalty,” Andres said without hesitation this time. Almost as if he was beginning to trust me. Which was good, because I was doing the same.
