Your use of touch in the first two paragraphs is a stroke of technical brilliance and emotional genius. Often these kinds of stories lose themselves in angst or repetition, but this is original, and, well – beautiful.

The way you segue into comedy at the end is good too – laughter is a big part of any relationship. Multi-faceted and highly readable, this is probably my story of the day… MH :)
