I like that the situation is _random_not stupid… It’s a well-told story, even if it’s not as engaging as some of your other work -most likely because the subject matter isn’t exactly riveting.

Amusingly gritty despite all the sillinesss. It reminds me of that movie, Bugsy Malone, where the kids are dressed like adults doing “gangster” stuff. It has that same sort of “if 7 yr olds imagined the world of adults” feel to it.

You have found the intersection of candy-coated, sickly-sweet effeminacy and nostalgic, puerile bravado. Pass the Skittles and pound fist.

Very fun read. I have the same feeling as THX, with this kind of taking place in a Disney-fied Lord of the Flies world.

And I absolutely loved the Care Bears. I watched that cartoon all the freakin’ time. Had at least a few of them on my bed as well. Them and Pound Puppies.

I love the rock ’em sock ’em robots! Also, Skittles rule.
