The Tapas Towers was in trouble. They could only handle 150 customers at a time but Vinnie the owner just kept taking bookings. Now they had 200 booked.
This is why Vinnie is not usually allowed to answer the phones.
Vinnie told Steve the manager about the booking situation, and walked out the door.
He didn’t care, as long as he had a safe full of cash at the end of the night.
Steve didn’t know what to do. He somehow had to fit 200 people into 150 seats.
He confided the situation in Ben, Ben was Steve’s best mate in the restaurant, the two of them had worked together and drank together for years.
Steve needed his help.
Ben had an uncanny ability to get out of almost any situation and this was the precise skill set Steve needed right now.
“Leave it with me.” said Ben full of confidence
Ben disappeared into the staff room with the booking sheet.
2 hours later he returned.
He walked up to the front door and handed the seating hostess a sheet of paper.
“Follow these instructions to the letter! It’s the only way.”
