The series to now reads very well, and very quickly. Unfortunately, you’re probably constrained by a medium like this in the long run – this thing has legs, and would only benefit from stretching out. That said, the writing is punchy and not wasteful at all. Great read, and I love the idea in your head.
I like the characters so far (though I agree with NorthWoods; Rashida is unexpectedly flashy for the business they’re conducting) and the cultural atmosphere you maintain. It keeps up the illusion that things are happening beyond the narrator’s immediate plot line.
