This is my first attempt at a sequel, I hope I didn’t make too much of a mess out of the story for you guys.

Looking at it from another angle – she could never outsmart the mighty Rafferty!

I do feel this is a little rushed in places, for example the mighty quick transition from smug monologuing to being caught out… But the character restriction cuts all of us down someplace or other, and you still manage to tell everything that needs to be told.

I’m glad this series has attracted attention, Rafferty’s a fab character and I look forward to seeing more of him and the rest of the gang – thanks for this contribution! MH :)

My original entry was about 500 characters over the allowable limit, so unfortunately I had to strip out a lot of the buildup.

This is a nice entry into the series and a great job for your first sequel. One continuity issue, though: she’s driving a BMW, not a Mercedes.
