This was inspired by Psalm 56:8
With the promise of John 8:28 in mind
And the story of Job’s life propelling it.
(Bible poem. Don’t be offended if you don’t believe in a god please. I meant it to be uplifting)

I’m not religious, but you pitched the uplifting-ness really well, so good work there – it doesn’t have all the impact that it might do on somebody more personally attached to the subject matter, but nonetheless a decent piece of poetry!

Lovely poem with an overall sad tone to it that worked nicely to set up the the redemptive or eternal theme you were shooting for.

This is really beautiful – I don’t know quite how I feel about God but this was really touching, it almost made me cry. And I was super impressed with the rhyme scheme, I can never do that =]
