Late pages in any story of my life would focus on the Pensacola years, five hurricanes and the odd apartment house on stilts that overlooked Pensacola Bay.

My two gay neighbors, both HIV Positive faced death long before the wind picked up for the most devastating hurricane season Florida had seen in a century.
