Quite a sentiment in that last sentence as well – it reads like a motto…!

I don’t know whether you could break that first paragraph up a bit more – possibly after the third sentence you could create another paragraph.

Either way, this was really enjoyable, with just enough left unsaid… MH :)

Your crits are stimulating, MH, and you have certainly managed to increase my thinking about paragraphing. I like your tentativeness in this case. There are always pros and cons. Or at least sometimes.
Actually I think the main cause of our feeling of congestion is more due to the failure on the part of the establishment to allow two spaces after a stop. THAT is ESSENTIAL! Then we might not feel so compelled to start a new para with each sentence.
