Is it strange that when you first mentioned ‘bat’ I thought he’d picked up the vampire variety?

Anyhoo, decent story, nice set-up, reminds me a little of Pet Cemetary by Stephen King… I’d like to see it paragraphed a bit more clearly for readability, but creatively it was lurid and suspenseful – good work! MH :)

No!!!! He killed the only two things protecting him from the thousands of zombie mice!!! With no zombie cats, zombie mice rule the world!!!
