I liked it up to the end, but not because of revelations. The end seems disjointed and rushed, even though this is supposed to stand as an excerpt.

I dunno if you’ve changed it since, but I thought the end was fine, and I like that you started in the middle of a sentence, made me feel like I’d picked up a book and flipped to a random page…

Yeah, I changed it. If I’d edited properly when I first wrote it, would never have put “at first” twice. :)

Mind if I use this in my argument to why all teachers should be put down? And maybe all brits?
