Legend of Gabriél (16)

Before I could ask what the present was, Andres took me into the city. A million thoughts ran through my head as he stopped in front of la tienda de ropa. Confused I took a glance at him, but he just smiled at el empleado.

“What would you like mi Príncipe?” The man asked.

“Whatever fits this man!” Andres said happily as the man went into the back of his small tienda.

“What is going on, Andres?” I asked. Was this his present? The man came out with a silky red shirt and handed it to me.

Es la mejor que hay,” The man said with a smile. Andres began walking off towards el Palacio and left me even more curious to what he was doing.

Sígueme,” He said and began running.

At the gates of el Palacio, the guards let us in and Andres stopped in the center of the garden and said to me,

“Gabriél, I’m so sorry for what happened with your parents, I am. Which is why I offer you the chance to live aqui in my home; inside el Palacio.”
