Why, no, of course I’m not emo. Why do you ask?

I read “Painting in Red”, and this list popped into my head. So I wrote it.

Lovely and haunting. Great use of the colors to establish this guy’s point of view and way of thinking. It really made his thought process and mood more visual. And cool use of French, bien sur!

Very poetic in places, strong imagery and an almost 1984-esque way of matching words, or in this case colours, to a meaning for their own ends – very, very clever indeed.

Not read the prequel, but this stands strongly alone – really good work – MH :)

Very beautiful, a string of thoughts without meaning but so full of meaning that it’s amazing. Good use of colours.
