Right, but the challenge was to write a page of your autobiography. So, you’re saying that either you did kill someone or you think you’re likely to in the future.

Or, you ignored that premise, in which case: The reason this challenge is interesting is because most fiction is 90-99% made up, with the remaining bit being autobiographical; here you’re given a method to reverse the ratio. Without that, you’ve just written any story, ever.

I asked her if it had to be real, she said no. So it’s a fictional autobiography.

Yes, and I’m not saying, “You shouldn’t have done this because it’s against the rules of the challenge.” I’m saying, “You shouldn’t have done this because it’s boring.”

Well, apparently it isn’t so boring, considering I got some pretty good reviews.

I’m sure you’ve read Edgar Allan Poe – the middle paragraph is exactly like the tell tale heart!!
