Sounds like this feline was aware of the tastieness of young cubs.
I at first thought it was the mountain and envisaged an avalanche but was pleasantly surprised to be wrong.

This is a really fast paced story with interesting content, but I’m not sure whether first person from an animal counts as giving it human characteristics… To some degree maybe, but surely all cars can think anyway?

Typo: I am sure the intended word was “Where”

“I was a lynx, and king of the mountain.”

This is an awkward use of the word “was.”

Here would be a perfect place to switch tense to first person present: “I am a lynx,” declarativly, “I am King of the mountain.”

That said, this narrative is a creative application and a good read.
