So, well, I’m not sure if this is romantic in the sense the author of the challenge (which just /happens/ to end on St. Valentine’s Day) intended, but, it’s what was inside me when I read the challenge.

I love the honesty of this piece, and, though I am now happily married, there was a time where I felt exactly like this. A couple of things to fix: “insecure” is one word, and you wrote “that” twice in a row in the first paragraph.
