I assume that Michael is the archangel. This is an interesting setup to a post-apocalyptic story. I like how Michael actually cares for humanity and is not just a disinterested higher being.

Intense and dark but works very well for what you were trying to get across, I think.

An interesting take on the apocalypse, good characterisation of Michael, and a nice little message in there about how humanity can’t accept it’s own insignificance in the bigger scheme of things…

Not sure about that very last set of ellipses, it leaves everything hanging a bit too much – you’ve got a strong ending without the punctuation anyway.

Still, a good read – very intriguing! MH :)
