Fittingly dramatic start to an adventure tale with a appropriately larger-than-life hero. Nice balance of in-the-moment stuff and quick overview to get us to the beginning of the quest.

As a fan of B-Grade Sci Fi movies I loved this. It has a very Yor, The Hunter from the Future tone.

One comment though. You just sort of appear in the middle of the story. We have Kron and the boy interacting and then suddenly there you are!. I found that distracting.
