Thanks to Begoniarob for letting me “borrow” his side of the arguement in The Blanket Thief for this challenge.
This was fun! It’s always a pleasant surprise to know characters are aware they’re in a story. Only thing I would critique is that the dialogue was a little hard to follow. Just bear in mind I’m a bit of a simpleton.

I was worried about the dialogue but cannot think of an elegant way to make the conversation clearer. The he said, she said technique would introduce the author and sort of ruin the mood.
I think the dialogue is clear enough. I sometimes wish I could ask the audience during arguments, it would make things so much easier.
I have often wished for some kind of arguement instant replay. Maybe a panel of expert judges.
“Conflict has greater value than either victory or defeat”. I suppose it makes sense that it was a writer who said that.
Well done. The 4th wall is tough I think. And easy to do poorly.
Ha! poor guy can’t get a break, or a blanket
By the way, I absolutely love the title of this. Meant to mention that before.
Thanks Kant.
