Depth of Color

Where ever I was there wasn’t much to see.

The few people there were plain; everything took on the same sandy hue as everything else. Even the sun found a way to blend in to a flaming yellow sky. I’ve heard people tell tales that sometimes, in the dark of night in the depths of shadows just before the sun begins to rise, magnificent colors of blue and green burst free in the form of ribbons and spiral through air, but as the sun rises they sink back out of eyes reach.
