Following the letters from Messrs Lyle and Trisin, I feel obliged to defend Mrs. Khaster’s production of Guardian Front. While it certainly featured anachronisms and few would deny that Iowa Moore’s cameo as Stephen Mogahn was a frankly baffling casting choice, its portrayal of the Domarian Bion Corps was amongst the most realistic of those ever committed to projector.

Attention was given to the “unrealistic” fashion in which Bryton Jacquec’s Major Alder survived a prolonged bombardment from a Conglomerate squadron before moving on to defeat the Task Force. I feel I should mention that this was not, in fact, a factual error: Major Mmbante Alder’s augmentation package included reactive armour and ceramic inserts, more than enough to resist the directed energy weapons of the period. Surveillance feeds and even reports from Conglomerate POWs confirm that the Major’s resilience to physical (and mental) trauma was unparalleled.
