What I Wish Would Happen (Part IV: Kissing)
“Of course I am. You have no idea how I feel about you…” I let my sentence fade away because she is looking at me so intensely. The world is still. She is all I can see.
“You’re… the best kisser I’ve ever kissed in…well, a long time,” she says quietly. “You’re also… really beautiful, Anna. I wish I’d met you before all of this had happened. Everything would have been so much simpler. Easier.”
“It can still be simple,” I murmur. “You still have my heart. I tried to take it back, but you wouldn’t let go. I guess I don’t really mind.”
I lean in to kiss her again, this time longer. Our lips meet, and I feel her arms wrap around my waist, pulling me closer, until I can feel her whole body pressed against mine. I shudder and hold her even tighter, our lips making sweet music all the while. I pull back briefly and gasp, smiling. This time she doesn’t wait for me to move. Our lips crash together like waves. I close my eyes and feel her body under my hands. I am lost in her. I am found.
