All I thought when I saw the title was ENTS!, but that’s just my wishful thinking. A really gorgeous piece. I don’t live in a wood but I am still surrounded by trees and also amazed at their vibrancy. I didn’t know the terms for the magic trick, but now you’ve explained, it’s a nice detail. Well done.

I think this is the best piece I’ve ever read of yours Drew. Stunningly descriptive, totally visual, it draws the reader in and literally doesn’t let them out until the very end, there isn’t a line that comes out as being particularly weak… Excellent work!
