Laura Wilson in 25 Years

My Life in 25 Years by Laura Wilson

Well, for starters, I’m going to have a house. Not an apartment or a hotel room. It’ll be in a nice neighborhood, not really busy, but not out in Podunk Junction or anything either. It’ll have nice neighbors on either side, and we’ll have things like block parties, and bring each other casseroles sometimes just for the heck of it.

I’ll probably have gone to college for art. Maybe at the State University. After classes, I always stayed in the art studio to work on extra projects just for fun. That’s how I met my husband. He’s tall, with brown hair and blue eyes, and worships the ground I walk on. He’s the agent for my artwork.

I’ll have two kids. They’re going to be homeschooled, because I stay home to work on my art anyway, and school sucks (no offense, Mrs. Bishop). They’ll live in the same house for their whole entire lives, at least until college, and they’ll each have their own rooms.

Sometimes, I’ll sit on my porch, and look at my house. Just cause it’s mine.
