I must say this was good to read, the idea is just a little too far-fetched I think.

I did enjoy the piercing the sun part though.

The opening line is the best. I think this is an interesting premise but maybe not suited to such a short format. We need more detail for this to really work.

Was the BOC reference in the title deliberate or coincidence.

The BoC reference? it was unintentional. It’s a reference to something different. And you are right, I found myself deleting words to make this fit, it might suffer from the Ficly limitations, might pen a longer version for myself.
