what did he draw on? I am intrigued at how you show us the inside of his mind. :)

This is really good stuff – the narrative voice of your character is beautifully innocent, and this idea that you can draw things back to life is possibly a young child’s view on mortality generally, represented through this imagined character…

I really like this both for the story and the ideas that are driving the story. I don’t have any criticisms but I would like to see more about the protagonist and Franz go “monster hunting” and having adventures. In a freaky way, Franz reminds me of Frank the Bunny (from Donnie Darko, who has been a source of unforgiving nightmares for me) but I hope that is more similarity of names rather than me just feeding my fears. I am intrigued and looking forward to a self-made sequel (which I don’t like as much usually…)

Wow, really good. It sucked me in from the beginning. I was so sad at the end. Although he does seem a tad bit crazy…
