“With a flick of its will” is probably one of the best phrases I’ve read in a long time. Bravo, good sir.

It was inevitable for someone to follow the ‘take my pride to the grave’ idea of refusing to bow, but instead of reading stereotypically, I almost thrive of it – we guess the guy’s going to die, but that description of the purple skinned beings is so good I don’t care!
