It almost sounds like an old legend that has been passed down for generations. I assume that’s what you were going for and I think you nailed it.

The style of storytelling (as referenced above), is very strong here, and the plot is really quite deep in a ‘dark fairytale’ kind of way… Different in the use of the challenge criteria from entries so far as well, so good work for breaking the mould! MH :)
