You ever have one of those days?
Where it all just falls away?
You get down to the basis of it, and realize that you just suck?

Now it’s not the end of the world,
As your life is being unfurled.
You just have to settle down, and step off of your high horse.

Perhaps you’re not the best.
No better than all the rest.
But if you were, would you really keep on trying?

I guess what I mean is this:

Do you really think it’s wise,
if you listen to all their lies,
if they detract from whatever it is you want to do?

But if what they speak is true,
Then listen, and expand your view.
Do this, and pretty soon you’ll be doing alright.
