#49 Just For Tonight
Looking at the face peeking from the covers next to me, regret made me cringe inside. I had never been so loose with my body before. In fact, I’d been called frigid more times than I’d put out.
I don’t even remember his name. Michael? Mitchell? He bought me drinks at the concert. Obviously I’d remember that part ‘cos I wasn’t goddamn drunk then.
Damn, this is why my mum always got so worried about drink.
Suddenly panic rushed over me. I pushed myself out from under his covers and scoured the floor for evidence of some protection.
Shit.
My plan was to leave without waking him, but I had to know. Tentatively, I poked him in the back, and he rolled over smiling.
“Hey, gorgeous.”
“Hi.” I melted a bit. I truly had scored. “Look, did we— were we—?”
Mr Gorgeous pulled a condom out from beneath the sheets and grinned wildly. I sighed deeply. Damn he was cute. I couldn’t help myself; the naughty side got the better of me. My lips spread into an equally wide grin.
“Up for Round Two?”
