It’s kind of sad, the reliance of the character on tobacco, but the descriptions are really strong – that line about the ‘burning tang of old tar’ is wonderful…

Really strong descriptions and ambiance to the whole piece. Great portrait of addiction as well as the things we focus on rather than difficult steps in the creative process.
