Ficly

It happened on Thursday afternoon(4)

But since the appointment of new management team in June, I barely had enough time for that. I even worked on Sundays half day.
I sneaked in through the back door .There was absolutely no sound; the whole house seemed to be dead. It didn’t give me a big head ache, Sally could be anywhere and back any minute.
I decided not to open the wine and make myself a mug of coffee instead. Sally makes excellent coffee and always keeps a pack of fresh aromatic beans in top left hand cupboard .I reached for the pack and it was then that heard footsteps above, someone moving about in our spare bed room exactly on top of kitchen. I knew Sally footsteps and could swear they were not hers.
I was not particularly frightened; I could trap the thief in the room first and then think about the next step.
It never crossed my mind to call the police or go out to fetch a help, it certainly took more than that to make an old woman out of me!
