I’m not much big on straight out blood ‘n’ guts—it doesn’t do anything for me suspense-wise. I think our culture has so much blood ‘n’ guts it’s lost its effectiveness.

But that’s an opinion.

Well, at least I didn’t say anything directly about the blood and guts. That’s a plus, right?
I just tried to incorporate something that is terrifying to me….scary children that do horrible things. The Good Son, anyone???
