Dear Jimmy

Dear Jimmy,
Last night I took a walk. It was the same route we always took before, but this time I was alone. Not like last time. The only thing I had to talk to was the moon. He didn’t talk to me like you did. He listened like you did, but he didn’t help me.

Dear Jimmy,
I took another walk last night. The moon was there again. He looked different though. You always stayed the same for me. I yelled at him. I yelled at him like I never yelled at you. I was not proud of it.I’m not the same since you left me. Why did you leave me?
Dear Jimmy,
Mom said that we can no longer use cars. I asked her why. Why did we have to give up our cars? They destroyed you, Jimmy. Mom won’t drive because she destroyed you. I walk everywhere now. I take the bus to school though. Mom can’t take that away. Why did you run away from me?
