I agree, refreshingly cliche-less (though that usually isn’t actually a very bad problem around here).

You transition from past to present very smoothly and it does wonders for her reflective thoughts. (Does that make sense? I think it makes sense…)

I really liked this. The descriptions are wonderful. I like the transition from past to present. The ending leaves a lot of questions unanswered which I usually hate but it works really well here :)

Judging from the comments people saw them as boyfriend/girlfriend, but I was thinking sisters…this is a perfect description of how I felt when my “big sister” went off to college. Well done.

A love story, yes, but platonic.
