This is at once so positive and depressing. The ‘voice’ of the narrator comes across strongly, I kinda wish for punctuation but can see why you didn’t. Very sparse, reflects the character well. Nicely done.
sweet, yet sour. If you love, then nothing else matters. And the world won’t feel it, but someone will. I just think you’re focusing on the wrong things.
Refreshing view of the cliche “time wasted is not wasted time.” I appreciate the point of view of the narrator, but I have to say that there’s enough bitterness that leaks in that I’m not sure the narrator is entirely content with the situation. (Maybe I’m just reading too much into it.)
