Nice follow-up!

I love the way you present his try at writing. The way I’m imagining it, writing doesn’t work, unless you truly believe in what you are laying on the paper. His doubt and hope are both well presented, as well as his disappointment. I like the idea of the evolution of language as well. Looks like they’re going to have to learn to write all over again.
