I like to think of this as the precursor to the cow from the Hitchhiker’s Guide.

I also have to admit, I do find this a little funny.

This is actually disturbing. Wonderfully written: the slow build up for the reader to the understanding of what is actually happening, the waiter’s words, so within the realms of possibility to make it chilling, the guilty last thought. It would benefit from spacing at the beginning, but still superb. Also, welcome to ficly!
