I forget, Cherie isn’t he protagonist, is she? Cause it’s all first person and stuff, which works well for the hard-boiled detective thing. Seems a bit ominous that we have a female detective on the hunt for a male killer who can somehow make his victims love him.

yeah she was the original. I’m off my game here. But you bring up a great point about her being female, and the love is a new twist, so we’ll see what ALRO does with it. :)
