If there is a world of dragons with nobody in it, does it exist? I liked the idea of the beginning of dragons in culture, but for me the idea of Spyro was a little let down. But that’s just my opinion… generally it’s well-written, and it sounds like it comes from the perspective of the dragon. Keep writing and welcome to ficly!
This was based entirely upon a free writing session I had in English class last week, and I really don’t know why I ended up writing this. Spyro was kind of an afterthought, and I’ve never liked those games…
Thanks for the welcome. I heard about Ficly a while ago and it looks to be pretty fun.
Very silly and amusing in some aspects, but the overall theme hit home for me, something about the dangers both of overstepping one’s bounds and how dangerous we can be in our sometimes rabid consumerism and consumption. Well, it makes sense to me anyway.
I decided in the end to remove the Spyro element. I originally was going for a satirical tone, but this feels better. Plus, there’s a new purple dragon that I’ve become attached to and I don’t want to stereotype. ;)
