I went and read the challenge, and I think this fits nicely: technical writing and Westerns. There’s something amusingly condescending abou the first instruction, like you think cowboy hats are, oh I don’t know, dated or something. Quick, funny read.

Makes me think of a uber-futuristic Japanese conglomerate where everyone smiles all the time. Very cool.

I like the term “Hooligan”. It makes the manual sound like it is for the upper class. Nice work.

With a manual like this, who wouldn’t want one of those hats? I just need another manual to tell me how to travel back in time. Sounds like a business savvy ripoff.
