I really liked this from beginning to end. The perspective is so novel and the over-arching feeling really comes through.

Ha. I like this. The sparse narrative style really works here, if that makes any sense. I also like the idea of a “whale in a cradle”. Great work— this almost seems like an excerpt from a longer piece.
