Ouch, painful moment told in a simple, straight-forward way that makes it easy to relate to. I’m not sure what to make of the repeated use of ‘fat robin’ vs. different adjectives or dropping the ‘fat’ from the later references. At first I didn’t like it, but by the end it felt like it had some meaning behind it. Just thinking aloud. Overall, a poignant slice of childhood.
