Second, this is gross and great at the same time, an original viewpoint and an interesting character. I wonder if his neighbors would describe him as “nice enough fellow, kept to himself”.

Yep, I’m with the ewww, though not about the bodies. I’ve seen enough of that to be at least mostly desensitized. I’m more on the social and ethical ramifications. I like the character’s line of reasoning and how it goes somewhere a little unexpected.
A bit chilling and very nicely, smoothly told.

I was all ready for some puzzle/crime drama with the body dead due to some cosmetology error, and you go all psychological on me! The internet is dangerous, remind me not to google autopsy..
