Affair
“I’m outside,” The man whispered into the cellular phone. He didn’t know why he whispered, it must’ve been the heat of the moment. He was watching and waiting for the boy to come out from his window. He wasn’t exactly a boy, he was more of a teenager, but it was the same thing in everyone else’s eyes.
The teenager finally crawled out of the window wearing the jeans the man loved. He walked quietly towards the car with a huge smile on his face.
“Hey, I’m glad to see you, Gabe,” The man smiled.
“I thought you’d never come, Mi—Steve. I was worried you were stuck at home,” Gabe said. He was a little nervous, Steve could tell. Steve was careful to remain unseen for Gabe’s sake and his own.
“Sorry, I had to get something done before tomorrow. People would start to notice that I’m slacking,” The truth was, Steve didn’t really care about work as much anymore, he cared for Gabe more. He leaned in and kissed Gabe gently on the lips.
“We have school in the morning, Mister,” Gabe smiled.
