Ooh interesting, but how is this sci-fi??

I suppose it is harder to tell without all of the details that didn’t make the Ficly 1024 cut. In the unabridged version, she had blue skin, psionic powers, was on a non-earth world, and could see a space station. All I have left in the story that sort of acts as indicators is the Sidu religion mentioning the universe, and the term patternblade. I suppose as such I should probably drop it out of the challenge. If it that’s possible.

It straggle the border of fantasy/sci-fi but I still think that it fits.
