It starts explosively and jumps right into slaying, which is great.

I feel it tapers off a little and falls prey to the cliches of the genre, but thats difficult to overcome so it’s not that big of a deal.

Yeah, I lost my way a bit and had to rewrite that last section a lot of times. I keep forgetting the ultra-short nature of ficlets.
