I was a little confused the first read through. It was interesting enough to read it a second time and once I figured it out, I like it a lot more. Clever way to get around the restrictions of the challenge.

This is a great expansion on the challenge only giving us one side of the dialog. And the subject matter really resonates with me, so that’s a bonus.

You forgot an initial cap in your fourth to last line: “[A]bout fifteen minutes.”

Haha… awkward! Like TR said, it’s fun to fill in the blanks. I think you’re missing a few commas here and there— such as after “Well” in the third line— but other than that, nice job!

FUNNY. Confusing on first read but when my sister asked me to just fill in the “other lines” I got it.

I have to admit, once I hit line 5 I was wondering just how far you were going to push his phone call, but then I laughed from line 6 to the end. Great perspective!

This is pretty damn funny. I think you can expand it, and I’d like to see more, especially of Reuben.
