Just My Luck. Day 2. (Cont.)

We had taken our showers and we’re now on the hunt for ‘leperchauns.’ Jensen was unfazed by my attempts to explain that they’re not real. Did I mention we didn’t eat breakfast?

My stomach growls, as we pass the third pub this morning. I rub my belly, limping slightly along my brother’s fast short strides.

“Jensen!!! Can we get something to eat, please?!” I whine, lagging slightly behind.

“I’m sure we can find you some rabbit food somewhere,” he chuckles. I manage to smack him upside the head and pout, crossing my arms. Once he notices that I’m not at his side, he turns and looks at me, then sighs.

“Seriously? Stop being such a girl.”

“I’m hungry and I’m sore and I’m cold. I want to get some food and go back to the hotel, not chase after some imaginary creatures!” I shout angrily. I can see his jaw lock and his fists clench.

“Fine. But tomorrow, we are so going to find that leperchaun!” He states, begrudgingly. I smile at his defeated state and head back towards the last pub. Yes!! Food!!
