Day 412

June 30th, 2010-Day 412 of my life inside a New York City tenement building.

Efforts to reduce the volume level of vehicular borne hip-hop music in the midnight hours with diplomacy having failed months ago, I am proud to report that my sonically activated electromagnetic pulse device has proven itself once again. At approximately 0100 hours, a slight spike in bass sounds accompanied by what the monitoring device estimated to be “hip-hop/salsa” was registered. Within a millisecond, the EMP discharged and rendered all unshielded electronic devices in the area inoperable. I didn’t even wake up.

My genocidal quest against the cockroach population is beginning to reach beyond the realms of morality. Having tried all manner of traditional pest control methods earlier this year, my experiments have shifted into a more generalized approach. Although I can free my domicile from cockroaches, my neighbors are less than cooperative.

Tomorrow night, I shall begin nerve gas experiments on a building-wide scale.
